According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 303.01 crore in futures and options segments on Tuesday, March 13, 2012.
FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 47.33 crore and they sold index options worth Rs 219.81 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 131.77 crore, and they sold stock options worth Rs 167.64 crore.
Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on March 13, 2012 stood at 35.08%.
