The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has allowed foreign institutional investors (FIIs)/registered foreign portfolio investors (RFPIs) and non-resident Indians to invest up to 100 per cent and 24 per cent stake in Transwarranty Finance under the portfolio investment scheme. Currently, the company does not have any institutional presence. Sterling Biotech holds 2.20 per cent stake in the firm.
