Coal India to invest $3 bn in coal, steel: Indonesia

Coal India plans to invest up to $3 billlion in a coking coal mine, steel plant and a seaport on Indonesia's Kalimantan Island. The company is expected to complete feasibility studies in June in order to know what coal reserves they could develop. Central Kalimantan province has about 4.8 billion tonne of estimated coal reserves and coking coal represent around 40% of that.crackcrack
