According to the data released by the NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 272.69 crore in index futures and options segments, as per Thursday’s data, January 14, 2016.
FIIs were net sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 104.97 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 377.66 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 376.11 crore, while they sold stock options worth Rs 69.91 crore.
