Idea Cellular spurts on adding 12.48 lakh new mobile subscribers in December

Idea Cellular is currently trading at Rs 112.45, up by 1.20 points or 1.08% from its previous closing of Rs 111.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 112.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 112.60 and Rs 110.60 respectively. So far 43629 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 203.90 on 17-Apr-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs 109.60 on 18-Jan-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 133.00 and Rs 109.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 40414.04 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.25% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.18% and 28.58% respectively.

Idea Cellular, one of the biggest cellular carrier of the country, has added 12.48 lakh new mobile subscribers in December, 2015. Following the addition, the company’s total subscriber count stood at 17.19 crore with a market share of 22.75%.

Idea Cellular, an AV Birla group company, provides Global System for Mobile communications (GSM)-based wireless service at the pan-India level, it is present in all 22 telecom circles.
