Competition Commission of India (CCI) has reportedly allowed Strides Shasun to acquire seven brands from consumer healthcare firm Johnson and Johnson. Through the deal, Strides will buy Johnson and Johnson's seven brands in dermatology, anti-emetic and pain management segments.
Strides Shasun is a vertically integrated global pharmaceutical company headquartered in Bangalore. The company has four business verticals - Regulated Markets, Emerging Markets, Institutional Business and Pharmaceutical Services & Active Ingredients.
