Dewan Housing Finance Corporation gains on reporting 16% rise in Q3 net profit

Dewan Housing Finance Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 183.00, up by 5.70 points or 3.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 177.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 180.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 184.45 and Rs. 178.00 respectively. So far 88051 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 284.85 on 04-Mar-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 176.50 on 21-Jan-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 212.00 and Rs. 176.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5360.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.90%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 37.50% and 27.60% respectively.

The company has reported 16.44% rise in its net profit at Rs 185.89 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015 as compared to Rs 159.65 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has increased by 23.63% to Rs 1885.32 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 1524.91 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
