Siemens surges on bagging Rs 155 crore order from PSI International

Siemens is currently trading at Rs. 1023.95, up by 25.05 points or 2.51% from its previous closing of Rs. 998.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1015.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1024.50 and Rs. 1010.00 respectively. So far 8,097 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1558.00 on 06-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 971.40 on 21-Jan-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1058.00 and Rs. 971.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 36,484.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.98% and 11.02% respectively.

Siemens, together with Siemens Malaysia, has won a crucial order approximately worth Rs 155 crore from Malaysia-based PSI International, one of the largest petrochemical companies of the world and a subsidiary of Petronas. The scope of work for the project involves supply of 420kV Gas Insulated Switchgear for PSI International’s new petrochemical (RAPID) Greenfield project.
