FIIs net buyers of Rs 1106.24 crore in futures and options segments on March 14

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 1106.24 crore in futures and options segments on Wednesday, March 14, 2012.

FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 870.17 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 561.36 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 296.68 crore, and they also sold stock options worth Rs 28.61 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on March 14, 2012 is 34.91%.
