Adf Foods gets MPCB nod to restart manufacturing activities at Nashik unit

Adf Foods has received permission from Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), Regional Office, Nashik to restart the manufacturing activities at its Nashik unit.

Earlier on March 5, 2012, the company shut down its manufacturing operations at unit located at Sinnar, Nashik as it received notice from the MPCB on February 28, 2012. MPCB has warned the company in view of the alleged violation of certain pollution control norms; however, the company submitted its clarifications to the concerned Authority on March 01, 2012.

Afterwards, the company has undertaken immediate remedial measures and hence Nashik Unit of the company has resumed its business operations with immediate effect.

ADF Foods is engaged in manufacturing a wide range of canned, bottled and processed vegetables, fruits and foods for the export and domestic markets. It is a leading manufacturer and exporter of ‘ready-to-eat’ food, pickles, papads, spices and various other products.
