ACC has reported an increase of 7.3 per cent in its despatches in June at 1.91 million tonne against 1.78 mt tonne during the same month of 2010. It also registered a growth of 6.18 per cent in production at 1.89 mt, up from 1.78 mt in the year-ago period. Cumulative despatches during January-June stood at 12.18 mt against 10.88 mt during the same period last year, registering a rise of 11.95 per cent. During the first half of 2011, the production was 12.18 mt, up 11.33 per cent from 10.94 mt in the corresponding period of last year.crackcrack
