Bajaj Holdings surges on reporting 10% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

Bajaj Holdings & Investment is currently trading at Rs. 1460.00, up by 22.00 points or 1.53% from its previous closing of Rs. 1438.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1460.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1480.00 and Rs. 1451.00 respectively. So far 1420 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1745.00 on 18-Dec-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1242.85 on 27-Apr-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1525.00 and Rs. 1388.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 16435.83 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.27% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.41% and 33.32% respectively.

Bajaj Holdings & Investment has reported 34.29% rise in its net profit at Rs 45.27 crore as compared to Rs 33.71 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the company’s total income has decreased by 4.96% to Rs 74.29 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 78.17 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.   

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 10.31% rise in its net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates at Rs 520.51 crore as compared to Rs 471.86 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has decreased by 9.64% at Rs 75.76 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 83.85 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2014.
