Coal India inches up on inking MoU with Indian Oil Corporation

Coal India is currently trading at Rs. 327.50, up by 1.30 points or 0.40% from its previous closing of Rs. 326.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 327.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 329.70 and Rs. 324.10 respectively. So far 49,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 447.25 on 05-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 286.90 on 21-Jan-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 336.80 and Rs. 311.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2,06,166.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 79.65% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.44% and 2.91% respectively.

Coal India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Oil Corporation at Kolkata for manufacturing of Bulk Explosives.

Coal India is the world’s largest coal mining company. It also produces non-coking coal and coking coal of various grades for diverse applications.
