Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting (WCCLG) will tap infrastructure projects in India to strengthen its Lighting business. WCCLG, which is a division of leading software exporter Wipro, 11-13 per cent to the firm's revenues and expects to further enhance the share through new product launches. The company registered sales of Rs 2,750 crore last fiscal, compared to Rs 755 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2011.
Most of the WCCLG's revenues come from indoor lighting of corporates in various sectors like IT, banks and retail outlets, among others. The company is now intensifying its focus on the lighting side of many infrastructure projects in India. Recently, the company started work on lighting projects at the Delhi International Airport and Mumbai International Airport, among others.
