Idea Cellular rings loud on the bourses

Idea Cellular is currently trading at Rs. 102.75, up by 0.70 points or 0.69% from its previous closing of Rs. 102.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 102.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 103.40 and Rs. 100.75 respectively. So far 83437 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 203.90 on 17-Apr-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 99.15 on 04-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 106.85 and Rs. 99.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 37138.30 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.24% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.43% and 28.34% respectively.

Idea Cellular has rolled out its high-speed 4G LTE services in Odisha, expanding its foot print in eight telecom circles in the country. The 4G services launched covers 12 major towns in Odisha. Of which, in nine towns, the consumers will experience it for the first time.

The telecom provider is aiming to expand its 4G services to 18 more towns by March 2016. The other major towns to get 4G include Samablpur, Brahmapur, Rourkela and Bhadrak.

Idea Cellular, an AV Birla group company, provides Global System for Mobile communications (GSM)-based wireless service at the pan-India level, it is present in all 22 telecom circles.
