Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation reports 40% fall in Q3 net profit

Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2015.

The company has reported 39.86% fall in its net profit at Rs 47.92 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015 as compared to Rs 79.68 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has decreased by 16.34% to Rs 299.20 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 357.64 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

GMDC is engaged in business of mining and mineral processing. The company manufactures two grades of fluorspar namely acid and metallurgical. It owns two bauxite reserve located at Kutch and Jamnagar
