PSU banks rises on announcement of Rs 15,888 crore capital for them

Finance Minister, Pranab Mukherjee announced Rs 15,888 crore capital for public sector banks; a financial holding company to cater to financial needs of public sector banks

SBI is currently trading at Rs. 2320.00, up by 20.55 points or 0.89% from its previous closing of Rs. 2299.45 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 2299.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2322.80 and Rs. 2295.15 respectively. So far 130766 shares were traded on the counter.

PNB is currently trading at Rs. 1007.70, up by 10.55 points or 1.06% from its previous closing of Rs. 997.15 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 1000.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1012.50 and Rs. 991.00 respectively. So far 18457 shares were traded on the counter.

Bank of Baroda is currently trading at Rs. 842.60, up by 2.30 points or 0.27% from its previous closing of Rs. 840.30 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 844.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 846.30 and Rs. 837.05 respectively. So far 16552 shares were traded on the counter.
