IDFC soars on announcement of tax free bonds to be doubled to Rs 60,000 crore

Finance Minister, Pranab Mukherjee announced Tax free bonds to be doubled to Rs 60,000 crore.

Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC) is currently trading at Rs. 150.45, up by 5.50 points or 3.79% from its previous closing of Rs. 144.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 145.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 150.65 and Rs. 145.10 respectively. So far 321425 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 167.00 on 06-Apr-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 90.25 on 02-Jan-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 154.35 and Rs. 141.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 22473.71 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 83.71% and 16.29% stake in the company, respectively.
