PSU OMC trades higher on announcement of direct cash subsidy on LPG and kerosene

Public sector undertaking (PSU) oil marketing companies (OMCs) are trading higher after Finance Minister, Pranab Mukherjee announced direct cash subsidy on LPG and kerosene, subsidy to be directly transferred to retailers and to farmers on fertilisers.

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) is currently trading at Rs. 296.40, up by 2.65 points or 0.90% from its previous closing of Rs. 293.75 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 295.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 297.75 and Rs. 294.50 respectively. So far 20070 shares were traded on the counter.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) is currently trading at Rs. 670.00, up by 3.80 points or 0.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 666.20 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 673.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 682.00 and Rs. 665.55 respectively. So far 48160 shares were traded on the counter.

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) is currently trading at Rs. 276.00, up by 3.95 points or 1.45% from its previous closing of Rs. 272.05 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 273.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 279.70 and Rs. 272.60 respectively. So far 39278 shares were traded on the counter.
