IOL Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals has received ‘certificates of pharmaceuticals products’ (COPP) for manufacturing of drugs --Ibuprofen IP/BP/USP/Ph.Eur./JP and Lamotrigine IP/BP/USP/Ph.Eur from Food & Drugs Administration, Punjab. This product will be manufacture in its exiting Multiple Purpose Plant conforming to the WHO guidelines. This will facilitate the company to broaden its presence in export market.
Ibuprofen is, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), used for the treatment of various types of pains and Lamotrigine is, an anti-convulsant drug, used for the treatment of epileptic seizures . The company is already having US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) and European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM) approved Ibuprofen manufacturing facilities.
