NMDC has reported 25.04 million tonnes (MT) of iron ore production and logged sales volume of 25.86 MT up to February 2016. The company’s Chhattisgarh mines produced 14.55 MT of iron ore and registered sales volume of 14.63 MT while Karnataka mines produced 10.49 MT of iron ore and sold 11.23 MT up to February 2016.
NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
