With reference to the earlier letter dated November 03, 2015, January 20, 2016, February 25, 2016 and March 05, 2016 regarding setting up of new Urea plant for production of 1.34 Million MT of Urea per annum at the existing site at Gadepan, District, Kota, Rajasthan (‘Project’) and financing of the Project. Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals has now informed that in pursuance of New Investment Policy-2012 (as amended) of Government of India for investment in urea sector; the Company has furnished a Bank Guarantee of Rs 300 crore on March 08, 2016 with Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India for implementation of the Project.
