Physical Rubber prices rule weak on Wednesday

Physical Rubber prices ended weak on Wednesday on talks that the Centre could not allow Rs 500 crore from price stabilisation fund to help the growers. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 107/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 108/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety dipped to 105/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 106/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of March delivery weakened to Rs 105.07 compared to its previous closing of Rs 107.07, while April delivery closed at Rs 108.12 compared to its previous close of Rs 110.13 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
