Coromandel International has acquired an additional 27.75 per cent stake in Sabero Organics Gujarat. With the acquisition of additional shares, Coromandel International's total stake in Sabero increases to 36.75 per cent. The purchase of agrochemical manufacturer will give Coromandel a company that makes a variety of fungicides, herbicides and insecticides. Sabero has around 250 product registrations in over 50 countries, including Brazil, Europe, Australia and African countries. Coromandel will leverage the large export base of Sabero to expand its overseas market. Sabero's 50 per cent of the revenue coming from international markets.
