Electrical equipment maker Siemens on Tuesday launched 10 value-based products under its ’Smart’ portfolio totalling the number of such products to 20 since first launched last fiscal. The newly—launched products are targeted at a range of verticals like aviation, power distribution, building, infrastructure, healthcare, material handling, manufacturing and industrial applications. These products are high in performance and cost-competitive, and have a very high utility value and are available at price points that a vast majority of customers can afford. Under the Smart portfolio, which stands for simple, maintenance-friendly, affordable, reliable and timely—to- market services, Siemens plans to launch another 10 products in next year.
