Suzlon's subsidiary bags orders worth 151 MW from Oct 2011-Jan 2012

Suzlon Energy’s German subsidiary REpower has bagged cumulative orders of 151 MW across Europe and North America over the last three months, excluding orders announced separately. The orders are from various firms secured between October 22, 2011 and January 18, 2012 across Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, UK and the USA. The projects include several wind farms in Germany, the UK, France, Belgium and the US.

REpower has delivered 36 onshore wind farms in Scotland, England and Wales and one offshore wind farm, Project Beatrice, in the North Sea. However, its largest offshore contract is currently underway, with the company currently commissioning the 30 REpower 5MW wind turbines for Vattenfall's Ormonde wind farm in the Irish Sea, with a total rated output of 150MW.
