Oil & Natural Gas Corporation has informed that the tenure of K. N. Murthy, Independent Director of the Company has ended on March 20, 2016, after expiry of the term of three years from the date of his joining the ONGC Board on March 21, 2013 and ceased to be a Director of the Company with effect from March 21, 2016. It may be noted that Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Govt. of India vide letter dated March 21, 2013 had appointed him for a period of three years from the date of the notification.
