Bharat Electronics (BEL) and Rosoboroneexport (part of Rostec State Corporation) have signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Defexpo 2016, Goa. As per the framework of agreement signed, both the entities will co-operate for the joint development of various sub-systems of major defence projects under the offset clause of the defence procurement procedure (DPP) of the Ministry of Defence.
BEL is a multi-product, multi-technology, multi-unit conglomerate with over 350 products in the areas of military communication, radars, naval systems, C4I systems, weapon systems, homeland security, telecom & broadcast systems, electronic warfare, tank electronics, electro-optics, professional electronic components and solar photovoltaic systems.
