FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per March 31 data: NSDL

31 Mar 2016 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Thursday’s data were net buyers in equity and in debt segments both, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5927.44 crore against gross sell of 4405.78 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1521.66 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2764.83 crore with gross sales of Rs 951.09 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1813.74 crore in debt.
