Maharashtra Scooters (MSL) has reported unaudited results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2011.
The company has reported a loss of Rs 7.38 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 as compared to Rs 1.11 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. Its net sales has declined by 24.82% at Rs 1.03 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 1.37 crore for the same quarter last year.
MSL is a joint sector enterprise promoted by Western Maharashtra Development Corporation (27%) and Bajaj Auto (24%). MSL has managerial and technical agreement with Bajaj Auto for production of scooters. Scooter brands included Chetak, Super and Priya. The company has its plants in Waluj and Akurdi.
