NMDC rises on increasing prices of its Iron Ore

NMDC is currently trading at Rs. 100.60, up by 2.85 points or 2.92% from its previous closing of Rs. 97.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 98.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 101.25 and Rs. 98.00 respectively. So far 833331 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 139.40 on 13-Apr-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 75.20 on 12-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 101.60 and Rs. 97.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 39706.63 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 80.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.56% and 2.43% respectively.

National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) has increased the prices of its Iron Ore with effect from April 04, 2016. The Lump ore price has been fixed at Rs 2,100 WMT while price of Fines has been fixed at Rs 1,860 WMT. The above prices are excluding royalty, taxes, DMF, NMET, Cess, Forest Permit Fee etc.

NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
