Wipro plans to buyback equity shares

Software giant Wipro is planning to buyback equity shares. In this regard, the company’s board will consider a proposal for buyback of equity shares on April 20, the day of its fourth quarter results.

The current promoter holding stands at 73.35 percent while institutions and non-institutions hold 15.52 percent and 10.53 percent each in the company.

Wipro is engaged in providing information technology solutions. It offers solutions for systems integration, information systems outsourcing, package implementation, system integration, network integration, software solutions and information technology services, software application development and maintenance and research and development services to corporations globally.
