Physical Rubber prices showed improvement on Monday amidst acute short supplies in markets. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety jumped to 143/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 141/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety improved to 140/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 139/ kg.
In the futures market, contract of May delivery improved to Rs 148.86 compared to its previous closing of Rs 146.17, while June delivery closed at Rs 149.51 compared to its previous close of Rs 146.69 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
