GE Shipping contracts to sell its Aframax ‘Jag Laxmi’

Great Eastern Shipping Company (GE Shipping) has contracted to sell its 1999 built Aframax ship Jag Laxmi (about 105,051 dwt). The Korean-built vessel will be delivered to the new buyer in Q1 FY 2016-17. 

GE Shipping's current fleet (including Jag Laxmi) stands at 32 vessels, comprising 23 tankers (8 crude carriers, 14 product tankers, 1 LPG carrier) and 9 dry bulk carriers (4 Kamsarmax, 5 Supramax) with an average age of 10.4 years aggregating 2.5 mn dwt.

Great Eastern Shipping Company is engaged in shipping and offshore business. Its shipping business offers transportation services for crude oil, petroleum products, gas and dry bulk commodities.
