FIIs net buyers of Rs 1723.53 crore in futures and options segments on March 22

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyres of Rs 1723.53 crore in futures and options segments on Thursday, March 22, 2012.

FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 451.94 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 1371.09 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 114.84 crore, and they bought stock options worth Rs 15.34 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on March 22, 2012 is 34.16%.
