Physical rubber prices showed a mixed trend on Tuesday. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 143/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety firmed to Rs 141/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 140/ kg.
In the futures market, contract of May delivery weakened to Rs 146.09 compared to its previous closing of Rs 148.86, while June delivery closed at Rs 147.30 compared to its previous close of Rs 149.51 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
