Dabur India has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2016.
The company has posted a rise of 35.73% in its net profit at Rs 289.03 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 212.94 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 9.63% at Rs 1566.89 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1429.21 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
On consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 16.56% in its net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates at Rs 331.93 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 284.76 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY15. Total income of the company increased by 11.19% at Rs 2217.61 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1994.43 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2016, the company has posted a rise of 23.20% in its net profit at Rs 939.51 crore as compared to Rs 762.58 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company increased 6.78% at Rs 5946.64 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 5569.13 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
For the year ended March 31, 2016, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted rise of 17.53% in its net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates at Rs 1252.71 crore as compared to Rs 1065.83 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company has increased by 8.62% at Rs 8673.25 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 7985.25 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
