Godrej Consumer Products reports 17% rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

Godrej Consumer Products has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2016.

The company has posted a rise of 12.27% in its net profit at Rs 211.14 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 188.06 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 6.60% at Rs 1234.32 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1157.95 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.

On consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 16.76% in its net profit at Rs 310.07 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 265.57 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY15. Total income of the company increased by 8.24% at Rs 2283.35 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 2109.48 crore for the same quarter ended previous year. 

For the year ended March 31, 2016, the company has posted a rise of 13.03% in its net profit at Rs 739.72 crore as compared to Rs 654.45 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company increased 8.23% at Rs 4854.38 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 4485.04 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.  

For the year ended March 31, 2016, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 23.40% in its net profit at Rs 1119.41 crore as compared to Rs 907.12 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company has increased by 7.97% at Rs 9034.68 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 8367.87 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
