Shoppers Stop has closed its ‘HomeStop’ store at Manjeera Trinity Mall - Hyderabad, due to lower than expected business and its low profitability. The sale from this store for the last financial year was Rs 238.7 lakh, which is 0.6% of the turnover of the company. With the closure of this store, the company now has 17 ‘HomeStop’ stores under its operations.
Shoppers Stop is engaged in the retailing business. It runs a chain of departmental stores with brands including Shopper’s Stop, Home Stop, Crossword, Cafes and Restaurants etc.
