Hitachi Home & Life Solutions India, part of Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air-Conditioning, is aiming to grow its revenues to Rs 2,000 crore by FY17 from current Rs 1700 crore. The joint venture company, formed last year, will focus on growing its distribution network as well as its market share in the domestic AC market over five years.
Hitachi Home and Life Solutions (India), popularly known as Hitachi, is engaged in manufacturing a range of electronic home solutions. The company is among the leading air-conditioning companies in India, which exports to SAARC, Middle East and few more countries globally. The company has a marketing network of 18 branches, 250 sales and service dealers, more than 800 showroom dealers and 350 service points.
