Emami has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2016.
The company has posted a fall of 51.79% in its net profit at Rs 63.80 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 132.34 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased by 14.75% at Rs 603.31 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 525.77 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
On consolidated basis, the company has posted a fall of 45.17% in its net profit after taxes & minority interest and share of profit of associates at Rs 75.85 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 138.33 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY15. However, total income of the company increased by 17.29% at Rs 676.79 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 577.02 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2016, the company has posted a fall of 30.52% in its net profit at Rs 327.67 crore as compared to Rs 471.63 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income of company increased 13.82% at Rs 2428.62 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 2133.79 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
For the year ended March 31, 2016, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted fall of 26.06% in its net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates at Rs 359.06 crore as compared to Rs 485.61 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income of company has increased by 15.47% at Rs 2666.20 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 2309.07 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
