Pfizer reports 57% rise in Q4 net profit

Pfizer has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2016.

The company has posted a rise of 56.91% in its net profit at Rs 66.97 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 42.68 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 12.78% at Rs 543.44 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 481.87 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.

For the year ended March 31, 2016, the company has posted over three fold jump in its net profit at Rs 222.78 crore as compared to Rs 69.82 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company increased 9.48% at Rs 2102.76 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1920.66 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
