APL Apollo Tubes is setting up a new unit at Raipur, Chhattisgarh with total capital outlay up to Rs 75 crore. The plant will manufacture galvanized steel tubes, hollow section and galvanized sheets having a total capacity of 60,000 MTPA. This step has been taken as part of the company’s expansion plans and in order to meet the growing demand of its products.
The company has also signed the MOU with Government of Chhattisgarh, in this regard and unit is likely to commence the operations by the first quarter of next financial year, FY2017-18.
