Tilaknagar Industries (TI), one of the leading players in the Indian alcoholic beverage industry has acquired 90% stake in the Sholapur based Shivprabha Sugars, which has obtained the necessary permissions for setting up - 2500 TCD Sugar Plant, 30 KLPD Distillery and 12 MW Co-gen Power Plant.
The company aims to maximize its operational efficiencies and this acquisition will help it gain an un-interrupted supply of raw materials in the long term and will also help to manage production costs in an optimal manner.
Tilaknagar Industries is one of the renowned Indian Made Foreign Liquor players including whisky, brandy, gin, rum and vodka with presence across India. The company manufacture, markets and sells more than 40 brands across all price points.
