Havells India rises on entering into MoU with Pan Projects

Havells India is currently trading at Rs. 345.00, up by 4.70 points or 1.38% from its previous closing of Rs. 340.30 on the BSE. 

The scrip opened at Rs. 340.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 345.70 and Rs. 333.35 respectively. So far 102298 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 355.00 on 20-Apr-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 235.60 on 09-Nov-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 345.70 and Rs. 327.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 21526.42 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.63% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.74% and 8.62% respectively.

Havells India has entered into a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pan Projects for taking on lease the land for setting up of manufacturing facility in the State of Assam. This will enable the company to avail of the rebates and benefits under the policies of Government of India and Assam. The arrangement is subject to change of land use and various other government approvals.

Havells India is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of electrical and power equipments. It offers industrial and domestic circuit protection switchgear, cables and wires, motors, fans, power capacitors, lamps, luminaries for domestic, commercial and industrial applications, modular switches and bath fittings.
