Voltas has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2016.
The company has posted a rise of 55.91% in its net profit at Rs 137.84 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to of Rs 88.41 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 6.23% at Rs 1633.75 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1537.93 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
On consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 49.47% in its net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit/(loss) of associates at Rs 176.43 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 118.04 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY15. Total income of the company increased by 27.38% at Rs 1936.58 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1520.26 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2016, the company has posted a rise of 1.11% in its net profit at Rs 332.89 crore as compared to Rs 329.23 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company increased marginally by 0.65% at Rs 5352.57 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 5318.06 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
For the year ended March 31, 2016, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a rise of 0.33% in its net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit/(loss) of associates at Rs 385.59 crore as compared to Rs 384.33 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company has increased by 12.91% at Rs 5975.05 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 5291.81 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
