Ramco Cements has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2016.
The company has posted a jump of over two fold in its net profit at Rs 204.32 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 93.42 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 1.85% at Rs 1017.68 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 999.19 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.
On consolidated basis, the company has posted a jump of over two fold in its net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates at Rs 206.33 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 94.36 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY15. Total income of the company rose 1.86% at Rs 1018.17 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 999.57 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2016, the company has posted over two fold jump in its net profit at Rs 558.26 crore as compared to Rs 242.35 crore for the same period in the previous year. However, total income of company decreased 1.20% at Rs 3687.09 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 3731.77 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
For the year ended March 31, 2016, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted jump of over two fold in its net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates at Rs 558.47 crore as compared to Rs 246.13 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income of company has increased by 1.22% at Rs 3694.56 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 3740.27 crore for the period ended March 31, 2015.
