Nifty June futures saw addition of 1.45 million (mn) units, taking the total outstanding open interest (OI) to 20.93 million (mn) units. The near month derivatives contract will expire on June 30, 2016.
From the most active contracts, SBI June 2016 futures traded at a discount of 6.50 points at 194.50 compared with spot closing of 201.00. The number of contracts traded were 1,03,216.
ICICI Bank June 2016 futures traded at a discount of 2.90 points at 239.40 compared with spot closing of 242.30. The number of contracts traded were 21,515.
Reliance Industries June 2016 futures traded at a premium of 7.40 points at 980.40 compared with spot closing of 973.00. The number of contracts traded were 18,262.
Axis Bank June 2016 futures traded at a premium of 4.25 points at 516.75 compared with spot closing of 512.50. The number of contracts traded were 15,063.
