GE Shipping gains on delivering its ‘Jag Laxmi’ to buyers

GE Shipping is currently trading at Rs. 310.00, up by 1.15 points or 0.37% from its previous closing of Rs. 308.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 309.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 312.00 and Rs. 309.50 respectively.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 420.00 on 10-Nov-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 275.00 on 02-Mar-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 314.00 and Rs. 307.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4,721.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 30.51% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 42.38% and 27.10% respectively.

The Great Eastern Shipping Company (GE Shipping) has delivered its 1999 built Aframax Crude Carrier ‘Jag Laxmi’ to the buyers. The vessel was contracted for sale in April 2016.

GE Shipping’s current fleet (excluding Jag Laxmi) stands at 31 vessels, comprising 22 tankers (7 crude carriers, 14 product tankers, 1 LPG carrier) and 9 dry bulk carriers (4 Kamsarmax, 5 Supramax) with an average age of 10.1 years aggregating 2.4 mn dwt.
