FIIs net buyers of Rs 2639.56 crore in futures and options segments on March 29

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 2639.56 crore in futures and options segments on Thursday, March 29, 2012.

FIIs were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 540.28 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 2491.05 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 680.91 crore, and they also bought stock options worth Rs 7.88 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on March 29, 2012 is 35.97%.
